Waterproof up to 10 meters depth
The watertightness of any type of housing is indicated by the IP protection classes. These are determined in accordance with the DIN EN 60529: 2000-09 standard and thus enable direct and neutral comparison of different products. The first digit indicates the protection against contact, the second the protection against water. If one of the two digits is not assigned, it is replaced by an X.
The Noaks Bags are particularly water-resistant - they have a protection class of IPX8. This means that their contents are protected for at least 2 hours up to a water depth of 10 meters. There is even more information about the protection classes on Wikipedia.
IPX8 test report
The protective covers were tested by an accredited environmental simulation laboratory in accordance with the applicable industry standard. To do this, a volume was first created using iron balls.
The bags were then exposed to pressure equivalent to a depth of 10 metres in a special pressure chamber and then examined for water ingress.

Food safe
View review nowWhen it comes to food, nothing can be left to chance. Objects that come into contact with it undergo strict tests in accordance with EU directives (1935/2004, 2002/72/EC and 10/2011): They are placed in various solutions and tested for possible releases of pollutants.
The Noaks Bags have passed this laboratory test and are certified as food safe.

Touchscreens remain operable
Modern devices use the PCT principle (projected capacitive), in which two conductive layers are placed on top of each other and subjected to voltage. When you touch the screen, the electrical capacitance changes slightly, which records the exact position.
Since the material of the Noaks Bags is also conductive, the touchscreen also works in the case – and with most models even under water!

FAQ
How long do the Noaks Bags last?
Noaks Bags are designed to last as long as possible. The bags have been proven to be watertight even after being closed a hundred times in the lab. The actual lifespan naturally depends on the actual conditions of use. You can use common sense here. Frequent folding and closing shortens the lifespan - if used for permanent storage, the bags will last practically forever.
How do I test whether my Noaks Bag is still properly sealed?
To determine the tightness of your Noaks Bag without a doubt, we recommend the following simple test: Place the closed bag in a water bath and apply light pressure. If air bubbles are clearly visible, please use a new bag.
How do I close the bags correctly?
1. Fill the bag up to the maximum mark and squeeze out any excess air.
2. Press the closure from side to side with your thumb and index finger. Repeat the process and check the closure for any unevenness.
3. To open, carefully pull the clasp apart from the middle.
What material are the Noaks Bags made of?
Noaks Bags are made of a high-quality, 100 µm thick composite material made of LDPE (low density polyethylene) and nylon. This makes the Noaks Bags particularly stable and durable.
Are the Noaks Bags really leak-proof?
Yes. Noaks Bags are waterproof to a minimum depth of 10 m for a period of 2 hours. This has been proven by an accredited environmental simulation laboratory according to the official standard DIN EN 60529.
Noaks Bags therefore comply with the industry standard IPX8.
Are Noaks Bags patented?
Yes. For individual formats and prints please contact us. We will be happy to make you an offer.
Can I make calls with my smartphone in the bag?

Yes. Food safety has been tested and confirmed by a renowned German testing institute in accordance with the relevant EU standards.
Is individual printing possible?
Yes. For commercial customers, printing is possible from a purchase quantity of 10,000 pieces.
Is there anything I should consider when storing electronics in the Noaks Bag?
Always check the Noaks Bag for leaks in a water bath - especially if it has been in use for a long time. If the test is successful and it is closed correctly, you can store your electronic devices in the Noaks Bag without any worries. Please note that for legal reasons, Noaks cannot accept any liability for the items in the bag.
